Mary Ann Allen BA, LMT, CMLDT, CMBPR, CYT, CCEOLC,, Reiki Master, has been a NYS Licensed massage therapist for over 30 years. She has practiced in New York City, St. Louis, and Salt Lake City, Captiva Isaland Florida and Laughlin NV. Her education is broad, with a BA in Early Childhood EDU form Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, she taught elementary school for a few years before moving to NYC to attend the Swedish Institute, of Applied Science. Since 1993 she has studied and practiced hatha yoga and mindfulness meditation and massage. She holds certification in Craniosacral Therapy I and II through the Upledger Institute, Mindfulness Based Pain Relief with Fadel Zeidan Ph.D., and Manual Lymph Drainage, Vodder Method,, from, the International MLD Institute . She has been a teaching Reiki Master since 1996 and brings all her experience into each massage or healing energy work session. Mary Ann believes a commitment to self care is essential for balanced wellness.
